The hostel was in the center of Berlin and very close to the subway. There were a lot of rooms and the service was good, check in went smoothly. The rooms were warm and there was a kitchen area where you could have tea for free, a stove and cutlery to cook your own breakfast. Also, they provided a lot of flyers and maps filled with information and activities about Berlin. The bathroom had a strange shower. There was a button one had to push in order for the water to run and it would do so for a few seconds and then turn off. The button had to be used several times for one to lather properly and that felt uncomfortable and cold. Also, the rooms were poorly ventilated since someone always slept there and there was little space for storing the luggage. The entrance of the hostel is rather gloomy and dark, more lights and a better color on the walls would make guests feel better.
